I waited all week to run and see this movie at its opening at the IFI. I guess I can say that the expectation was high. I heard so much about Sean Penn's performance that, as they say, "I wouldn't have missed it for the World". The movie narrates the story of California's first openly gay elected official, Harvey Milk.
My personal highlights were: no doubts Sean Penn's performance, the beautiful vibe and pictures around Castro and the astonishing beauty of James Franco. Milk has received 8 Academy Awards Nominations. It is a to be seen One!
