Romeo e Giulietta by Shakespeare and Zeffirelli

The Works of Shakespeare " When I was 18, my French used to be better than my English, as a matter of fact, my English was practically inexistent at that time. Well, my cousin gave me as a present a DVD with the best cinematography scenes from the past. Romeo and Juliet from Franco Zeffirelli's movie was there with the Balcony sciene .... ohhhhhhhhh what a treat! I knew the movie already, which I absolutely felt in love with, and as I had the the scene on the DVD I learned by hard the full text. Part of this text followed me into University when I was in Bari and it became part of my wallpaper. I remember, it was 1998, I went for the first time to US to work for Disney and guests in EPCOT were gobsmacked to hear an Italian girl with very little English capable to act by hard the full balcony's scene. To me that movie remains a masterpiece and the beauty of Olivia Hussey (Juliet) and Leonard Whiting (Romeo) are just unspeakable . I once read that the son of Dean Martin, went to see this movie and told the daughter of Frank Sinatra that one day he would have married Olivia Hussey. He first saw her on screen, and guess what!... They did get married!

Lady and Gentlemen a thousand times goodnight!
