Shut Up & Sing

Back in rainy Dublin, as the summer forgot to show up in this country, I found myself going to the cinema as usual. Dusted my IFI membership card, paid a respectful visit to this little joyful theater. Watched “Shut Up & Sing”. Wasn’t sure about the content…

Turned out to be a documentary about a country music band, called "The Dixie Chicks". Have to say, although I seriously dislike country music, the Doc turned out to be extremely interesting, especially as it highlighted the strong will of these women as they remained together in their difficult journey. All and all 7/10?
