A week away from the farewell party, and still don’t realize what lies ahead. The 2nd of April will be flying to San Francisco, one more time after 10 years …useless to say that I am looking forward to this. Don’t exactly know what to expect from it, but I know that I need to explore and travel as much as I can possibly do. There are plans to fly to Colorado on Memorial Day, haven’t though bought any tickets yet as prices are sky high….hope I’ll manage. Albuquerque is another stop, will visit Sheila one more time and Max in LA. Other destinations in plans, NY maybe Chicago or even better Hawaii….shall I go?
Last w/e was in Italy in tiny Bisceglie to visit the relatives before taking off, weather was stunning!
Before leaving to Italy I spent an evening in a team building event in the Italian school of cooking in Dublin. Had a fabulous time, the food was great, lots of wine and last but not least ended up singing “O Sole mio” and “Fatece largo che passiamo noi…”.
The week before (the 8th of March), I was in Rome for 1 day and a bit, to attend “Editori in reta”, a convention I was asked to participate right at the last minute. No complaints though as the conference turned out to be very interesting and important to me, as I am still young in Google Ricerca Libri. A post on the blog for Google Italia followed on my return. Overall I was glad to see Sofia and to be with her in glorious Rome.
I am exhausted, thrilled and full of things to do that I will probably never manage to….in a week the departure and I still need to check my passport, haven’t sub let my room yet and don’t have storage space in case I do ….. chill babe! One step at a time!
